Joey Weissman Wins 2026 Poker Masters Event #3 for $218,400

Just days after securing his second World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet online, longtime poker professional Joey Weissman brought his unstoppable momentum to the live felt, taking down Event #3: $10,500 NLH at the 2026 Poker Masters for $218,400 and his fifth PokerGO Tour (PGT) title.

Continuing the Fall Heater at the PokerGO Studio

The American poker pro from New York navigated a competitive field of 78 runners, generating a total prize pool of $780,000 at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Weissman ultimately defeated Daniyal Gheba heads-up to capture the trophy, continuing a remarkable run of form that has seen him dominate both online and live tournament circuits.

“It’s really sweet to kind of feel like I’m going kind of wire to wire winning an event online,” Weissman told PokerNews in his winner’s interview. “Variance comes in waves and you got to be ready to take advantage of it when it comes. And I ran super, super hot. I don’t think I lost it all in today. And that’s just kind of what it takes.”

This triumph added another prestigious notch to Weissman’s resume under the bright Studio lights, a venue he previously conquered by taking down the 2022 $3,500 BetMGM Poker Championship. “I like to think there’s something about being excited to come in here and play with my friends every day and just really enjoying the experience,” Weissman remarked. “Maybe that positive energy translate(s) in some way.”

A Star-Studded Final Table Featuring WSOP Champions

The final table boasted a heavy-hitting lineup of American poker veterans, including Shannon Shorr, Dylan Linde, Brock Wilson, and start-of-day chip leader Jeremy Ausmus. The presence of close peers like Ausmus and Shorr—who both captured online bracelets earlier in the month—made the victory even more meaningful for Weissman.

“We were actually kind of laughing about how none of us I had not played heads up, actually, with any of them over the course of my whole career, which is a little bit bizarre,” Weissman noted. “I just love playing with them. They’re super tough competitors, really tough players.”

Dramatic Final Table Eliminations

Jeremy Ausmus entered the day in prime shape to chase his tenth PokerGO title, but his momentum ground to a halt. The downswing started when he doubled up Daniyal Gheba after Gheba’s turned a flush against Ausmus’ . After losing another sizable pot to Gheba, a short-stacked Ausmus jammed from the small blind into Weissman’s big blind. Weissman woke up with , dominating Ausmus’ to send the former chip leader to the rail in under two hours.

High-stakes regular Dylan Linde was next to fall in a button-versus-big-blind cooler when his pocket queens ran squarely into Gheba’s pocket kings (). Gheba continued his aggression by eliminating Brock Wilson in fourth place, as Wilson chased his third major PokerGO Tour series title.

However, momentum shifted when Gheba tangled with Weissman. Weissman successfully trapped with pocket queens against Gheba’s pocket sevens to secure a crucial double-up into the chip lead. Armed with the chip advantage, Weissman quickly closed out the tournament by eliminating Shannon Shorr and Daniyal Gheba in back-to-back hands.

Despite missing out on the title, runner-up Daniyal Gheba padded his PGT leaderboard points following his fifth-place finish in the series’ opening event, which netted him $54,600.
